Surface.polyhedra(wm)

Iterate through the polyhedra that make up the closest volume to each vertex.

For each vertex, builds the small polyhedron bounded by the midpoints of its incident faces and edges (on both this surface and the corresponding white matter surface wm), which approximates the volume of cortex closest to that vertex.

Parameters:

wmndarray, shape (total_verts, 3)

Vertex coordinates of the corresponding white matter surface (same connectivity/vertex order as this surface).

Yields:

ptsndarray

Vertex coordinates of the polyhedron for one vertex.

polysndarray

Triangle faces of the polyhedron, as indices into pts.
