cortex.utils.get_hemi_masks

cortex.utils.get_hemi_masks(subject, xfmname, type='nearest')

Returns a binary mask of the left and right hemisphere surface voxels for the given subject.

Parameters:

subjectstr

Name of subject

xfmnamestr

Name of transform

typestr, optional

Mapping method to use for projecting between volume and surface space. One of ‘nearest’, ‘trilinear’, ‘gaussian’, ‘lanczos’, ‘const_patch_nn’, ‘const_patch_trilin’, ‘const_patch_lanczos’.

Returns:

maskslist of ndarray

Two boolean masks, [left, right], each with the shape of the functional volume for xfmname, True where a voxel is covered by that hemisphere’s surface vertices.
